Pasta is a traditional staple food in Italian cuisine. It is typically a noodle made of unleavened dough (leavening agent) which is a raising agent that causes a foaming action that lightens and softens the dough, and durum wheat flour mixed with water and eggs and formed into different shapes and sizes and variety of colors. There are around 350 different types of pasta around the world!! It cant get better :)Pasta was originally solely a part of Italian and European cuisine owing to its popularity there. With an increase in popularity on a world-wide scale, pasta has crossed international borders and is now a popular form of fast food and a staple in North America and all around the world. My Personal favorite are the penne, fusilli, fettuccine and I prefer my pasta with red sauce:) and I am going to share with you’ll my all time favorite pasta salad recipe it’s quick, delicious and healthy.
Here are the ingredients:-
Step 1 – Boil pasta with a pinch of salt with 2-3 drops of oil.
Step 2- Drain the cooked pasta and let it cool
Step 3-Add in some lettuce and your favorite veggies in your salad bowl, I personally love to add some cucumbers, some avocado’s, red & yellow bell peppers.
Step 4-Add your favorite pasta sauce in a pan/wok I love the “Tuscan herb”pasta sauce stir it in low-medium flame for 2 min.
Step5- Add in your cooked pasta into the sauce and mix it well( if you like it spicy add some chili flakes) add salt accordingly ( remember we added salt at the beginning)
Step 6 – Add the pasta into the salad bowl and finish it up with some garlic herbed croutons and your done !!
